Ashley graduated in 2007 with her M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) from UTD Callier Center. Born & raised in north Texas, Ashley proudly supports her community via her private practice. She focuses on feeding and swallowing across the lifespan, utilizing her expertise as a medical SLP, International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant, neonatal oral-motor assessment licensed professional, and a tethered oral tissue provider.
A passionate supporter of families and infants throughout their feeding journeys and especially after disasters, Ashley is a rising expert in infant and young child feeding in emergencies (IYCF-E). In the past 12 months, she has served as an infant feeding specialist in disaster response, supported as a digital coordinator for the SAFE team and participated in IYCF-E research, much of it as volunteered time.
Ashley values and incorporates interdisciplinary and collaborative care to help families meet their goals.
